Gill Support Activities
Gill support volunteers work closely with school administrators to sponsor, plan, and support school activities.
Beautification
Teacher and parent volunteers work together to keep Gill beautiful. Periodic clean-ups and plantings as well as on-going maintenance activities are the focus of this group.
Kids Kingdom
Keep the children's recreation area in tip-top shape! Volunteers help power wash the kids' favorite play spot every other year. You can also assist with monitoring the area during Halloween. This year, we have a special committee to plan and organize the replacement for Kids Kingdom.
Scholastic Book Fair
Work with Gill's Media Center Specialist to organize volunteers to run the annual book sale. Profits are used to purchase library materials and to sponsor literacy activities and programs.
School Improvements
Every year, the PTA works closely with the principal to sponsor building and equipments improvements.
5th Grade Recognition
Every spring, the fifth grade class is recognized for their hard work at Gill. Parents organize and sponsor this fun annual event.
Staff Appreciation
Our teachers and staff deserve a big thank you for all the work they do for our children. The PTA sponsors a staff appreciation lunch to thank those that do so much for our children.
