Bonaventure Skating Parties

The PTA sponsors Gill nights at the local Bonaventure Skating Palace every other month. Kids and parents alike enjoy this inexpensive social event. Family Movie Night: Last year the PTA implemented

Family Movie Night

Family Movie Night is a free activity designed to facilitate parents meeting other families in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. We feature the most current G-rated rental movies. Kids bring pajamas, blankets or whatever keeps them cozy as they enjoy the movie in the Gill gym.

Spring Ice Cream Social

This spring event is a great family event and fundraiser to boot! Families come together to enjoy ice cream sundaes, games and entertainment. Themed gift baskets are also raffled off.  This event can always use extra hands to make the magic happen. 

Meet the Teacher

Arrange the fall event for students and parents to meet their teacher before school starts. Volunteers assist with announcements and serve refreshment at the event reception.

Science Night

Help plan and run the very popular family night where science is fun! Learn new and exciting science facts and phenomena that will impress your friends and family. The 2005 Family Science Night is scheduled for Thursday, October 27th.

Theme Dance

This event is the grooviest, coolest happening at Gill. Our theme dance is held every February in the school gym/cafeteria. Kids and parents alike dress up according to the year's theme. So far, we've had a sock hop, Groovin' to the 60s, and a Pajama Jam!  What's next? Stayed tuned and get ready to boogie!
